DNC Manager and Details Plus

Details Plus forms an integrated solution to display, manipulate and search US DNC (Do Not Call) entries as imported using the Inaplex DNC Manager. DNC Manager imports DNC numbers as Details which are best viewed using Details Plus. Details Plus version 2.1.2 and above provides the functionality you will need.

If you already have installed DNC Manager it will have created a new detail type called DNC. To view this optimally you need to configure Details Plus for Details of this type. Download DetailsPlusDNCAddition.ini and append the contents of this file to your DetailsPlus.ini file. This will automatically configure the screen and fields for DNC detail type.

You can then view DNC records in a user friendly format as shown below:

Note how more information is displayed in Details Plus, from fields which are populated by DNC Manager but cannot be displayed in GoldMine.

You can then immediately use Details Plus standard features for DNC data. This includes:

• Searching for DNC numbers
• Building GoldMine groups of records meeting DNC number criteria
• Details Plus supports searches on dates or date ranges. You can use this, for example, to search for DNC numbers which are still able to be called due to permission on enquiry grants.

Details Plus also allows searches to remove query results from groups. Typically this is used as follows:

1. GoldMine is used to build a group of contacts which is to be called.
2. Details Plus is then used to remove contacts from this group which have been DNC’d
3. GoldMine will then schedule calls from the revised group.

We are also designing an optional feature which will enable calls to be scheduled in one operation from Details Plus.
